From Monument to Masses aka FMTM kicked off their tour Wednesday at Safari Sams.If you didn't get a chance to make it to the LA show and live in the SoCal area the band is hitting up The Glass House Record Store in Pomona on TONIGHT, then Bottom of the HIll in SF on Saturday. MYSTERY JETS NEW SONG!

Are you like us and ready to hear some new Mystery Jets music? Yes?!? Well, today is your lucky day. The band has uploaded a new song on their Myspace page available for your listening pleasure. The new song is called "Flakes" and it's pretty sweet. Head on over to the band's myspace page to check out the track. They also made a pretty sweet video for Flakes that you can view on YouTube. We are hoping the Mystery Jets lads will be returning stateside soon. We didn't get to hang with them enough. THE WILLOWZ UP FOR MTV2 VIDEO OF YEAR! VOTE!

THE ICARUS LINE TAKE ON NEW YORK!

We'd like to pass along a note from the desk of Joe Cardamone (frontman for Dim Mak's hardest rockin' rollers, The Icarus Line) "We will performing two intimate evenings at the annex in new york in december debuting new material and playing all the classic underground hits. both shows will be recorded live by producer michael musmanno for the "live in new york city" record. costumes and eccentric make up are encouraged. Two nights for rock n roll history." The word has been passed and now it's time for all you New Yorkers to make it out to the awesomely dark Annex on December 15th and 16th for some Icarus Line lovin'. THE DEADLY SYNDROME'S INAUGURAL SWEATER FESTIVAL

Downtown Los Angeles is about to get Christmas Sweaterfied! The The Deadly Syndrome have come up with the concept of what is sure to be our favorite holiday party in LA this year. The boys have teamed up with The FOLD to present the first ever Christmas Sweater Festival. They hand-picked their favorite LA bands to join them on stage (Eskimohunter, The Mae Shi, The Happy Hollows and The Pity Party). Each band will tag-team the stage eventually each completing two 15 minute sets. It will be a fun-packed night of music and tacky sweaters. Tickets are a mere $5 minimum donation with the proceeds going to charity. It all goes down at Crash Mansion on December 14th. Christmas/Holiday sweater attire is a MUST!!. FOREIGN BORN ANNOUNCE DATES WITH ST. VINCENT! VHS OR BETA THIS WEEKEND!

Foreign Born are gearing up for a string of dates with VHS or BETA. The band is supporting them at The El Rey (in LA) this Sunday.
